Experience winter unspoiled on Tamarack's 19 miles of freshly groomed track that meanders around Twin Lakes and the Mammoth Lakes Basin. This is the update for Wednesday, April 14, 2010.

We had an absolutely delicious day on Sunday, April 11!  The blustery weather sent our Tour de Taste indoors, which turned out to be a lot of fun!  This allowed people to linger in the warmth of Tamarack Lodge, where they ate the extremely tasty offerings from Petra's, Tamarack Restaurant, Skadi, Great Basin Bakery, Mammoth Brewing Company, and Pedroncelli wines, not to mention the vast array of desserts prepared by the staff at the ski center.  Thanks to all who made this affair so wonderful!

Our last day of operations is Friday, April 16.  I hope everyone gets a chance to get out and ski this week as the snow (1 1/2 feet this sunday!) is perfect.  Thank you to all of you who came to us to ski, to learn in the masters' clinics, to compete in races, and who volunteered your time to help our events succeed.  This place is special because of all of you, and we enjoy everyone who comes here very, very much!  We ladies who work at Tamarack (and the token males) appreciate also the treats that some of you have brought us...skiing takes alot of calories, and we appreciate your efforts to keep us fueled and smiling.

We hope all of you are able to have a lot of fun this summer, and keep in shape by joining in the numerous fun activities that Mammoth has to offer.  Don't forget to check out the fun events being sponsored by Eastside Velo, the Running Club, the Tri Club, and others.   Doing different kinds of sports throughout the seasons will not only keep you in shape, but will keep you healthy as well.

The prices for next season's ski passes here at Tamarack are as follows:

MVP upgrade before April 30 is $169 for adults, $159 for seniors (64-70 and youths (13-18), and $79 for children (6-12).

MVP upgrade after April 30, Mammoth or June Season Pass upgrade (anytime), and to join the Masters program (anytime) is $239 for adults, $179 for seniors or youths, and $119 for children.

Early Bird Pass (Oct. 1 - Nov. 19) is $339 for adults, $249 for seniors or youths, and $169 for children.

Regular Season Pass (any time) is $419 for adults, $302 for seniors and youths, and $209 for children.
